Mochi is made by one person. If something's broken or confusing, email me and you'll get a real reply.

Please say which iPhone and iOS version you're on — most Screen Time problems are specific to a version.
Common things
- Mochi isn't appearing when I open an app
- Check Settings inside Mochi: it needs Screen Time access allowed, at least one app selected, and protection switched on. If you tapped “Turn off for now”, picking apps doesn't switch it back on by itself.
- I let an app through. When does it lock again?
- The moment you next open Mochi. If you never do, it locks itself after about 15 minutes of using that app. Apple gives no way to make that quicker — there's no signal for “the user closed the app”.
- I tapped “take 30 seconds” and nothing happened
- The app closes and Mochi sends a notification; tapping that opens the breathing screen. If notifications are off, that route is gone — you can still start a reset from the Reset tab inside Mochi.
- Can I pick a whole category instead of single apps?
- Yes. Categories and websites work the same way, and letting one app through leaves the rest of the category locked.
- How do I stop it sending anything?
- Settings → Privacy → turn off Share anonymous usage. Anything already waiting to send is discarded rather than sent. See the privacy policy.
- How do I delete my data?
- Delete the app — everything Mochi stores lives on your phone and goes with it. For anything already sent, email me and I'll remove it.
- Does Mochi know which apps I picked?
- No. iOS hands it anonymous tokens and never the names, so it genuinely cannot know — not a promise, a limitation of the system it's built on.
